With the advancement of society and economy, and the progress of technology, new measurement methods and techniques have brought these hidden 'numbers' to light. Torque that could only be measured in laboratories can now be realized through tools used by workers! To ensure that the torque applied to tighten screws is visible to the user at the moment it's being applied, torque wrenches and torque drivers were developed. Currently, the most commonly used tool is the torque wrench. As more companies and organizations emphasize product quality, the requirements for tools have consequently increased. Tools quality and the user's skill play crucial roles in determining the success or failure of an entire project.

Hardware tools are the foundation of all clothing and food, housing, and transportation industries. Tools used in different industries serve different purposes. The most obvious association with torque wrenches comes to mind in the automotive or mechanical industries, but they are also widely applied in other fields.

In structural steel, screws hold together and fix the entire building's skeletal framework, which bears significant force. After torque is measured by a torque wrench, it becomes clear whether the screws can meet the expected pressure requirements. To pursue optimal speed, vehicle frames have transitioned from iron to aluminum alloys, and even to carbon fiber, to reduce overall weight. However, as carbon fiber is not as durable as iron or aluminum, overly tight screws can cause internal fractures, leading to frame damage and, in severe cases, structural failure. Therefore, critical connections in the frame use specific torque settings on torque wrenches.

During engine operation, severe vibrations can cause loosening or weakening of the screws, leading to part detachment. Consequently, critical screws are double-checked with torque wrenches for proper torque application. Typically, screws securing the entire engine are also tightened using torque wrenches.
